Our Company
The company has grown from a one man operation trading as Redway Construction back in 1995 to employing 18 staff today. In 2003 we began trading as CozyCool, a name that better reflects what we do, keep you Cozy in Winter and Cool in Summer.
We have showroom space at 59 Kenepuru Drive, Porirua which enables our clients to find out about and experience Heat Pump solutions first-hand prior to purchase.
We align ourselves with our customers as partners, assisting them in achieving their goals and objectives. Thirteen plus years of industry experience will ensure our projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
A large portion of our business comes from satisfied customer's referrals, which is the most rewarding form of marketing, proving that our products and services are second to none. As Peter Graham from Porirua says:

We are thrilled and pleased to announce the winners of the MOREFM Wellington's Coldest Home Competition. Dan and Rebecca Hills-Cretney. Dan and Rebecca were absolutely delighted to be the recipients of our prize. CozyCool installed Dan and Rebecca's Fujitsu Heat Pump and Smartvent Ventilation System shortly after their return from holiday. Welcome to CozyCool Comfort Dan and Rebecca !!!
Management Team
Stan ("the Man") Redit,
Managing Director (Director and Shareholder)
Stan's background includes an apprenticeship with Acme Engineering in Petone, where he completed his Trade Cert in Fitting and Welding. Self-employment through Redway Construction lead to the creation of CozyCool in 2002 and the business you see today. Stan's passions are four-wheel driving, diving, sailing and hunting. Stan is married to Cheryl and they have three fab children. Not the most PC of individuals, Stan enjoys winding up the staff on a regular basis, including Cheryl, who has had to employ an office manager to keep him in line. Stan and Adrian were separated at birth which can make management meetings incredibly dynamic!! Stan has a very worrying desire to purchase non-essential items from the 1-day website. So far, model helicopters, golf clubs (he doesn't play!!) and a selection of telescopes.
Cheryl ("focus people, focus") Redit,
Marketing Manager (Director and Shareholder)
Cheryl's background includes all aspects of the ship broking industry (i.e. buying and selling ships) followed by self-employment through Redway Construction which, of course, led to CozyCool!! Cheryl is an extremely busy mother to three (or is that four including Stan!) but still manages to find time to enjoy all things creative; travel, professional development and interior decoration. Cheryl's responsibilities include our extremely busy marketing division, managing the sales team and overall responsibility for the financials. Where does she find the time!! Cheryl is the reasoned approach to the dynamic that is CozyCool and her input is invaluable.
Adrian ("Alan") McKibbin,
Service Manager
Adrian completed an apprenticeship as a Refrigeration Engineer while working for Heatpump Engineering (a company his father co-founded) and spent 11 years at Hay and Gibbons Refrigeration. Adrian brings refrigeration engineering experience (a Heat Pump is a refrigeration system after all!) to CozyCool, along with his definitive management style. Full of life and fun, Adrian and Stan together make a formidable team. Adrian is married, has a kennel full of dogs, and still manages to enjoy four wheel driving and hunting. Adrians' responsibilities include providing maintenance and servicing contracts for our clients along with the management of our installation team. He also attempts, at very regular intervals, to land his model helicopter on any unsuspecting employees heads.
